Using the Wiki

Things to know if this is your first visit to the site

A Wiki is a type of website that allows users to add, remove, or otherwise edit and change content quickly and easily. The ANT IS … Wiki is part of the Wikidot.com free Wiki network. To be able to edit and add content to the site, one must first register with wikidot.com and also be a member of ANT IS …. Those not wishing to go through these administrative procedures can interact with ANT IS … using the forums.

• To edit a page, go to the page and click the Edit button at the bottom. You can change everything in the main area of the page.
• Once the editing pannel is accessed, the main editing functions are accessible through a set of buttons and wizards, but edits can also be entered directly into the text using the Wikidot syntax that is relatively easy to learn and use.
• Remember to enter a brief description of changes made in the text box provided.
• A guide to editing pages and a link to Wikidot syntax can be accessed through the Site Tools drop-down menu found on the top navigation bar of every page.
• You can attach images and other files to any page, then display them and link to them in the page.
• Every page has a history of edits, and you can undo anything. So feel secure, and experiment.
